Is spider tribal a good idea?

Hello arachnophiles! I was wondering if spider tribal is a viable archtype in commander. The commander would be [[Thantis, the Warweaver]]. Jund has a lot of good creatures. It doesn't have to be super competitive. Is this a good idea or should I just wrap this up on the web?
