Wort, the Spellslinger

Post Body

I am seriously considering challenging myself with a spellslinger deck. I have never made a deck like this before, having made more creature based decks (for reference, I own [[Breya, Etherium Shaper]], [[Alesha, Who Smiles at Death]], [[Karametra, God of Harvest]], [[Brago, King Eternal]] and [[Marchesa, the Black Rose]]).

The reason I m wanting to do [[Wort, the Raidmother]], is because decks like [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] and [[Melek, Izzet Paragon]] are decks that bring alot of hate. Mizzix cheats mana and the best way to stop him is to kill him as often as possible. Melek is fairly easier, since having six mana to begin with can be hard, and then keeping him on the field is the other issue.

So for starters:

How would one go about making a Wort deck? I'm looking for probably a 75% deck, one that I can keep up with some more of the competitive people, but I also can pull it out and play it whenever.

What are some strategies I should go looking for? A few things I am considering are cards like [[Comet Storm]] and [[Banefire]], making massive burn spells and copying them, [[Scapeshift]] with [[Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle]], since you could Conspire to get Valakut and then use the copy to get all of the other mountains out of your deck, I could go the obvious storm route with [[Ignite Memories]] or [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] and finally, I could play a "voltron" style deck where I play buff spells and attack in and comspire multiple times to kill with commander damage.

Would love to hear opinions and card suggestions!

TIA!!!
