Ruling Question: Exiled cards being played

So the title explains it. If I play exiled cards, say with [[Narset, Enlightened Master]] or [[Jelava, Nephalia's Scourge]] do they then go back to the appropriate graveyard? Stay in exile?
Need to know for constructing my Narset Voltron deck. :p
