Post Body

Was talking with a dude from my meta this morning. Last night we both (separate pods) got locked into very grindy games. He’s not mad just annoyed, just how it goes.

For me my grindy game was one of the best I’ve ever had, and helped me reach an epiphany. You will never learn more about what your deck needs than if you’re in a game where no one can do anything without being clapped back into a loss.

I have taken my moded Yuma precon out 4-5 times now and clocked 2 wins, and what would have been a 3rd if I could math right after two beers. Pretty good I was thinking. The Mexican standoff showed me otherwise. The deck has big blind spots I couldn’t see cause of that early success and now I can adjust accordingly. Food for thought.
