This seems to be a recurring point of playgroup strife in most shared anecdotes in the sub so I'm curious, in a vacuum what people here think. I personally power down my deck so it's not very consistent (Only 1~2 Tutors, opting for more Thematic/Flavorful card choices over what would be the correct ones) but I still do know that there are 2 card/3 card combos in my current main decks that would allow me to win in the very same turn they're played if not interacted with.
Definitely feels like a mentality against this is more promoted for newer / more recent players, mainly because older-EDH's slower meta felt like it can just have a 9 Mana 'I win card' that comes out of nowhere. But I can see how enfranchised angle shooters and bad actors also take advantage of this as excuses for not accepting wins/losses as clean.
EDIT:
I guess for more context, is there a specific point where you're more forgiving for when wins out of nowhere / sudden player elimination starts coming out (IE; Past the half-hour / Turn 6~8 Mark),
Mostly really trying to get feedback on this for when I should probably be going for eliminating the people with the "worse" board presence (IE; Combo players with glass cannon commanders) in a setting with a random pod.
