Do people play planechase?

Very rarely it ever seems to come up and I hardly hear people still playo g the format. So I'm wondering with the recent end decks this year that added more planechase cards, has anyone seen an increase in its playability? I made a Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients, edh deck that I played with friends like over a year ago, and it was epic when playing planechase. So I figured if I could find a group I'd get pretty play outta it, but as mentioned seems like a hard to find format of game play
