Would you attempt to wipe the board to prevent someone from winning after 1 1/2 hour has already passed?

Curious what other people here think.

I was in a similar position and did it out of spite because my wincon ended up getting answered by the leading player. Mostly as a way to punish their board for using up all their answers diminishing my board... unfortunately the rebuilding process on either of our ends went too slow so it took much much longer for the board too be threatening again, and by that point I just sandbagged the next board wipe in my hand.

In hindsight it ended up extending the game by another excruciating hour and a half (Mainly though because it was a 5-Man Pod) which after 30 mins in nobody was really vibing with anymore.

EDIT: Lots of good points here, I acknowledge that a 5-player pod is not optimal and can get slow (And the envy of other 4 player pods already shuffling up for their 2nd or 3rd game).
