So I haven't played Yu-gi-oh in a while but when I did my two favourite decks were Aliens and Gladiators. I'm wondering if there are any commander decks that play in almost the same way? And if so could someone point me to them.
Aliens- a deck based around adding counters to creatures on both sides of the field and then removing those counters for special abilities (destroying the creature, summoning a strong monster without paying cmc, getting abilities like double strike etc.)
Gladiators- basically everytime one attacked you could shuffle it into the deck and replace it on the field with another Gladiator from your deck. Allowed you to constantly switch up the battle field with each creature having its own special ability so you would choose to bring out creatures that suited the current board state.
P.S I didn't want to link to yu-gi-oh decklists in case they weren't allowed but can do if requested.
Thanks!! I've heard of yuriko, so it's nice to have it confirmed as a feasible alternative.
Was not aware that oil counters were so similar, so it will be interesting to check them out

Thanks a million!! I was thinking ninjutsu for it alright, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't ignoring any other options
