Worth getting WB for a newbie to the series?

Stumbled on this and i really like the look of it, i do own EDF 4 on steam as i picked it up in a sale at some point but i think i just tinkered with it and never went back to it as i was playing other stuff at the time.
Basically wondering if i should get this and play it with no context of the rest of the series. Also would be playing SP only as i dont really know anyone whos into this kind of stuff, Thanks!
