What’s up Reddit? Bit of an emergency fund razor here(no pun intended, but if autocorrect has jokes tonight, I’ll roll with it), so I’m moving a couple of my favs.

First we have a Microtech Combat Troodon Bowie, Black aluminum Handel with Apocalyptic m390 Blade. I bought this new a couple months ago from EDClifestyle, though it has a birthday of May 2022. I have carried this knife a handful of times and used it to open some mail, but it’s been babied all the way. The action is typical hard firing Microtech awesomeness and has never once failed. The edge is still factory and the grinds look to be perfectly even. Up until today I’d have told you that this knife is absolutely pristine. But after my taking a picture with the flash on, I noticed a feint snail trail across one of the chickens toes on the logo. You’ll have to channel a little Indian Jones to find it, but technically it is there. SV: $450 $420

The Second knife is a very well modded Vero Isotope IMHO. This is Vero’s top of the line blade, done in m390 with titanium integral Handel. That Handel has been anodized an awesome blurple color with the clip done in a crisp blue that really pops. While they were anodizing, Way of Knife went ahead and replaced the micarta inlay with end cut carbon that came out seemless. Finally, in order to match the sexy new Handel, BGM reground an awesome swedge into the blade giving it a more aggressive Bowie shape. This also lightened up the tip of the blade, which makes it deploy with more conviction than any other Vero I’ve seen. Between the small but effective Flipper tab and the fueller for reverse flicks, I dare say this knife is straight up fidgety now. The whole thing just came together beautifully, which is why I’d been hanging onto it as a dress knife for just the right occasion. Which is stupid given the fact that I tend to avoid such occasions like the plague, lol. So the knife remains uncut and uncarried, without a mark on it. SV $400 $365 (Obviously, modding knives isn’t exactly an investment, but for what it’s worth there’s over 750 in this guy all together)

As I said at the start, I really am trying to sell for cash right now, but alas I am still a knife guy at heart. If anybody has a cool Manticore E or a Smock in something other than S30v, I could be talked into a trade. Oh, or a ADV Bowie or Medford Infraction, lol 😅🙏🤙!
