Need help with comfort for EDC Taurus G3C

Any of you that carry any of the Taurus G3C(G2C, PT111) have any tips or tricks for making the grip more comfortable? It’s my favorite EDC but it tears up my side. Open to clothing/holster recommendations. It gets a little hot to wear an undershirt so looking for other options.
