DAE feel the need to fast/“be worse” before an appointment?

I see my psychiatrist and dietitian on Thursday and I keep thinking I need to fast or not do well a few days before I see them so they think I’m not “faking it” or for them to take me seriously. It sounds so stupid because I know they already do. I feel so weird for thinking this and sometimes I act on it as well.
