Ideas for meet the teacher night?

It’s my first time as a lead teacher for PK. We are hosting a meet the teacher night in a few weeks where parents can come in, fill out/turn in forms, learn about the schedule, etc. The kids will be in the rooms meeting their new teachers.

Any suggestions for activities? Any advice or tips? My plan so far is to let them be one familiar with the room, meet the class pet, maybe read a story. I was also thinking of doing an activity related to the book (like something from The Invisible String or The Kissing Hand). Thanks for your help!
