I attended my local AEYC conference today and was able to sit in on some great sessions. Two of them were with Lisa Murphy, whom I LOVE!! I saw her present when I was just entering the profession many moons ago. Sitting and listening today I reflected on all of my mentalities and classroom structures that come from her line of thinking(which is play based learning). It was just good affirmation that even on the hard days I do have the right intent and desire to make my classroom the absolute best that I can for my kiddos. It also reminded me there are always ways to improve as well.
