Post Body

I’m a HS teacher (taught 1st grade for a few years) and I know the impact parenting can have on student behavior/student success. I have no ECE classes, so I’m not familiar with what is ‘normal’ behavior for toddlers (I have a two year-old). I frequently ask my son’s teacher how he’s doing, if he’s throwing tantrums at school, and they say he doesn’t throw tantrums but he does get upset when he doesn’t want to do something. I want to support his teacher and prepare him the best way I can (he’s also an only child). Question: was his teacher just being polite (teachers can get in trouble for being honest, I know). Question: I try to get updates on his behavior/learning; is that annoying?
