Is $9 an hour too low for a no experience assistant?

Hi, Iām a new teacher assistant at a preschool with no experience or a degree. I have no clue about pay for preschools, so I was curious if $9 am hour is too low for taking care of 1 year olds in an understaff preschool? I work full time.
