Hey everyone, I currently play NHL22 on the xbox one. I enjoy it for what it is and I almost exclusively play chel 6v6/drop-in/whatever it’s called these days.
I’m asking for help deciding if I should get the new NHL23 on the old gen that I play now(xbox one) or the new gen(xbox series s/x)
Since I pretty much exclusively play chel drop in’s and that’s the only thing I use my xbox for, the player population is the most important factor to me in deciding which version to play and I don’t care much for the visual upgrades or anything else that comes with the newer gen version.
I don’t think the player count numbers for the different platforms are something EA would release because I imagine they won’t look so pretty. So I’m asking some of you for some anecdotal evidence or predictions on which will be the more popular platform for the upcoming game. You can base it on absolutely whatever you think matters; be it player population/matchmaking times and quality from NHL22 from last/next gen, or the fact that next gen consoles are more available to purchase than the time of release for NHL22 last year.
Thanks for reading and I appreciate the help in advance and I apologize if this seems like a first world problem.
