So I was watching Martial Mind's latest video. He's trying to hit the number one spot in ranked and during the vid he looked at the current rankings and made a comment about how the current guy in rank 1 (PS4) essentially plays everyday. I'm sure it was a joke but it really got me thinking. I remember back in season 1 you would have guys in the top five with overall fights being 400 or so and an overall win pool of 398 or something similar. Essentially some of these guys were winning 98 or 99% of their fights. Like...what? How?! Do some of these guys just wake up, sit there and dedicate seven or eight hours a day to playing UFC 4? Shit I can't even play a game for more then an hour or two. No job? No responsibilities? I mean it would make sense if the game had a vibrant esports scene but as far as I know it doesn't. Are you telling me these guys play as specific fighters, learn their moves and go up against the AI on Legendary difficulty every. Single. Day? Just grinding as if it were a 9 to 5? Hell not even guys like Martial or Romero play the game this much.
Idk, just some things that got me thinking.
