It would be pretty cool if EA release "evolution" cards for Fifa 18. The way they would work is simple: The card increases in OVR and stats once a certain milestone is reached. There should be 3 evolutions with the original card being the same rating as the standard card. Whenever these cards are sold, they will be reset. E.g.

Fernando Torres Evolution card:

• Level 1

• Level 2

• Level 3

For the example above, the requirements could be:

• Level 1 = Score 25 goals.
• Level 2 = Score 50 goals.
• Level 3 = Score 100 goals.

It would be a pretty neat concept and could be used for different positions with different requirements. They could even have special requirements for certain players. E.G. Francesco Totti would be: Level 1 = 25 apps. Level 2 = 50 apps. Level 3 = 100 apps. Goalkeepers could require cleansheets etc...

This would make "loyalty" more meaningful and impactful.

What do you lads think? Any other cool card ideas?

Edit: the original card will be the same as the NIF version of the player. This will work the same way an OTW card works.

EDIT: /u/wouterkw shares an interesting addition. "Perhaps you could build on this by saying that if you have a special kind of card (captain/club Legend/idk) they would get orange links with anyone after a certain milestone". A reward for reaching a certain level? That would be pretty cool

EDIT 2: I've seen a lot of people asking how EA can stop people from boosting this offline/abusing this. I think the requirements could definitely be different for the top/high end players. Maybe something like this: Level 1: Reach Division 1 Online Level 2: Win Division 1 Online Level 3: Win Division 1 x 5 times. The requirements could also easily read: "score 25 goals in an online match"? Food for thought I guess

EDIT 3: I would also like to see these released in a similar fashion to OTW cards. Only certain players should get this. Definitely don't wanna face an evolved Musa every other game. They could also release new one periodically/SBCs to keep things fresh. This would also give an incentive to open packs so its a win win for EA
