How can such a massive oversight make it past any QA testing? There's a little blue bar above the players names that's supposed to be the stamina, however it does not go down.
Never mind that in the intro cinematic you have 5 seconds to match 11 numbers to their place in the field if you want to see your opponents lineup.
This is actually potentially game breaking. I can't tell how much stamina they have and if I should sprint or conserve it.
https://streamable.com/wuo7 A player will full stamina. Looks pretty normal, right? Full blue bar, white to indicate how far it will recover, and it will go black if you're all out.
https://streamable.com/qhvs Well here you can see a half stamina player. Their blue bar is also full, like they're fresh on the pitch. You literally can't tell. Not just that, but the bar will fully recover, the white is useless. The video is a bit long, but you can get a good view of the stamina's working.
It's supposed to be relative to how much stamina they have remaining I believe, but in practice it's really disorienting. As you can't easily tell which players need to be substituted without pausing every few seconds/minutes.
Also, and here's the worst part imo, your players sprint is influenced by how much stamina they have remaining. So if you have half of your players stamina remaining, they cannot sprint as fast or as long. So you literally cannot tell how long you could sprint for, or how fast your player can be. Stamina also affects other traits. So it's incredibly misleading if your player looks like he has full stamina, but in reality has less than a fourth stamina remaining, and plays very sluggishly.
This can all be fixed if they just make it work like the old stamina bar. (Or give an option to enable the default/vanilla UI)
This may seem minor, but stamina is a huge part of the game. And not being able to accurately tell how much stamina your player has remaining has a noticeable effect on gameplay.
