I’m hoping maybe somebody can help me with this. Since Club finals has ended our team has run into something very odd on a nightly basis.

It feels like 90% of point shots are going in if we are anywhere near shooting lanes. It probably goes up to 95% if they are allowed to skate into that middle lane and shoot and we don’t block it.

Has anyone else seen a major change to this? Just snap shots from the point that fly past the keeper with ease? I don’t even see Make it Snappy, Heatseeker or Seeing Eye on most of these builds.

We lost a game last night in the final seconds where they picked up a rebound in front and instead of trying to put home a rebound, he turns and skates back towards his net as we all began to crash down. He then pivots slightly as he gets just above the face off dots and throws a snap shot that most 8 year old goalies could save and the goalie goes for a giant windmill save like it was 200mph and gets nothing and it goes in.

The thought process was like I’m going to move it from a high scoring opportunity, skate away from the net with clock ticking and then just flick up on the stick. It works every time…

Anyone else seeing this?
