I have a suspicion the revised Maggiore Composite is what spooked him from continuing to attack in Sacramento. I also suspect he started killing in SoCal as to not link his new crimes to the NorCal crimes-- maybe because he didn't want to be linked to that composite. The East Bay crimes gum that idea up a bit since he used the same script and followed the same M.O. as he did in Sacramento but maybe he thought he was far enough away they wouldn't be linked? Anyway, it'd be interesting to know when those links were made.

Edit: I guess the more relevant question is when could EARONS have known LE suspected the East Bay and Sacramento attacker were the same guy. i.e. were there posters etc that linked the crimes via any of the composites (or other information) circulating in the East Bay at any point during the crimes?
