I present to you Sergei Medvenov, the 6’5 237 lb 24 year old MONSTER. Franchise level prospect scored 47 points in 55 games as a 17 yr old in Russia and I knew I needed him. Traded the #7, #41 and the following years first to Columbus in what will go down as the worst move in NHL history for the Blue Jackets. He’s fluctuated from a 96-98 overall since he’s been 19 years old, the youngest I’ve ever seen someone get to those numbers. Through just over 6.5 years, he has 386 goals, 283 assists and 669 points. I did not alter any scoring settings and very rarely play any games. He’s got a Calder (53g, 31a, 87p), a Hart, a Lindsay, a Rocket (finished top 3-5 in goals every year), a Conn Smythe and 3 (!!) Selke awards. Been to 3 cup finals (2 in his first 2 years) and won 1 cup. He also is pretty much always top 5 in the league in hits. The best player I’ve ever had in a franchise mode for sure.
