CSL/ZCP floating rotor fitment

Hello. I’m wondering if anyone out there knows if regular USA spec 328mm M3 e46 front rotors will fit an e46 M3 with the competition package / ZCP / CSL(came from factory with 2 piece floating euro spec rotors) - without changing the caliper brackets.

In other words, I am aware you have to upgrade to the ZCP CSL caliper brackets to fit the bigger 345mm floating rotors if you have a standard USA spec M3… But if you want to go to the smaller rotors & you have the bigger caliper brackets - will it work as is; or do you need smaller standard M3 brackets?
