Wierd crank/No start after rain
Post Body

I drove to work today (rained all last night and today) and when I came out my car will crank but won’t turn over. It behaves kind of like a bad cam position sensor as in it sounds like it’s randomly igniting the fuel but not timed correctly. I noticed some water on top of the motor that looks like it leaked passed the air filter. I can’t imagine maybe somehow water got in the cam position sensor connector? But I’m pretty sure the rear one is just wired into the harness. I’m at a loss, gunna let it sit till the end of the day to see if it dries out. Any ideas? I have fuel (don’t know about pressure) and assuming because of it sputtering I have spark.
