Maybe I'm missing something, but as far as I can tell the extra energy needed to use them make them not really worth it. Like, tier 3 costs 150% extra energy to use, but you only get 25% extra products? Energy so far has been a much bigger issue for me than anything else, so I don't really see how making production a lot more energy intense just to get a comparatively small output increase is at all worth it?

its 150 energy for that first prolif but you get 25% extra product alll the way down the line to end product which ends up like multiplying your investment
