I’m not sure where exactly to begin, my mother got cancer in January of last year. She ended up having surgery to remove it before getting involved with certain political beliefs and running off to different parts of the country without telling us and basically abandoning us. My father was with her for 35 years when she suddenly wanted to get a divorce out of nowhere. It took a big toll on him and he ended committing suicide last year as well. He was a huge part of my life and my best friend and the only person that truly understood me. I’m still trying to figure out how to enjoy things again and the point of life after the fact. Recently my mom has been trying to scam me out of life insurance money that we got after my father passed. Just a week ago she or one of her friends she claims, sent me death threats if I didn’t “invest” in business opportunities. We just recently filed a police report and criminal trespassing if she comes on her property. I feel like this is not a normal family situation but I honestly don’t know. It just feels like this is normal after everything we’ve gone through in such a short amount of time. Is this a normal family situation?
