Changing to SF asset plan - how early is too early

Post Body

Our league started up as a 1QB. Only one person in the league had experience in a SF league, and it was everybody's first dynasty league. So we felt it might be a rough way to start a league if nobody understood one of the foundational rules. After some time we have voted to add SF, doing so on a 2 year ramp as per Sleepers default, so that all teams have an equal shot at making their rosters fit a SF format without punishing win-now teams that have one good QB.

I guess the question is: with a SF start in 2024, how early would you worry about acquiring younger/better QBs.

If you could get a QB now at 1QB prices, would you hold him for 2 seasons knowing his value skyrockets once the format changes? or is that too long of an outlook.
