I'm thinking about starting a league on fleaflicker and taking advantage of some of their scoring customizations.
Passing and Rushing:
- 0.5 PPR
- 1pt/10yds rushing, 6pt rushing td
- 1pt/20yds passing, 4pt passing td
- 0.5pts per first down for all positions
- 2pt bonus for 100 yds rushing
- 1pt bonus 100 yd receiving
- 1pt bonus for 10 receptions
- 0.2pt bonus per passing completion after 25 completions
- 1pt per 50yds passing after 250yds
- 1pt bonus for any TD >50yds (passing, rushing, receiving)
- -2pt for INT
- -1pt for fumble, -1pt additional if fumble is recovered by defense
Kicking
- 1pt XP, -1pt missed XP
- 3pt FG, -3pt missed FG
- 1pt/10yd bonus for FG attempt after first 40yds
So, e.g. a made 60yd FG is worth 5, while a missed 60yd FG is worth -1. The intent is to reward good kicking while not penalizing the kicker unduly for being put into situations where a long FG is the best option to win the game.
D/ST
I won't list everything here, but I looked at game stats from the last few years and awarded points for things like QB hits, QB hurries, 3 and outs, 4th down stops, and solo tackles. The breakdown is here.
So, two questions:
1) If I started a dynasty league with these scoring rules, would there by any interest?
2) Is there anything glaringly obvious or stupid about this league?
I was thinking 10 team, QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, K, DST, WR/TE, superflex, 2 RB/WR/TE/K/DST, roster size 26
I added K/DST to the flex spots because the intent was to bring K/DST scoring more in line with skill position scoring.
