Will the story get better and the characters become likable?

I started playing a few days ago and I finished the 3 first chapters. So far, I'm enjoying it for its gameplay and it fulfills its job of being a good mobile SMT game.

However, my main complain is the story and the characters.

Usually Mobile games don't have the best plots, but games such as Fate: Grand Order at least have some interesting developments storywise and it's pretty entertaining.

So, do you guys think the story will get any better? The characters have cool designs, but their personalities is where they falter.
