So I’ve been looking into getting a used 2500. I drive around 20-50 miles a day depending on the day but usually stays around 20 to 30 miles and I have a reliable 05 Toyota Camry I drive on the daily since it was basically free after my grandfather passed away and no relatives near by to try and claim it. I want a truck on the side since I have the money and the driveway space for one and also to pull my buddies boat when we go offshore as well as lugging my large dogs around. Are there any red flags I should be aware of before getting into these particular years of trucks? Is the reliability there? Not worth the purchase or worth the purchase? Just looking for first hand experiences and advice with these years from personally owned to a diesel mechanics view on it. Thanks
