For years now I have noticed that on occasion my food or drink will have a STRONG chemical-like smell/taste. But yes, I continue to go to DD. Hahahaha.
I see people joke about it on social media but seriously, WHAT IS IT?! Dunkin even contacted me via Twitter one time about it with no solution.
This past time my hash browns tasted like it and my husband's bagel with cream cheese. He couldn't eat it because the taste was so strong. My only conclusion is...they're not cleaning equipment properly? Because we have a newer location by our home and at first everything tasted perfectly fresh...but now as time has gone on...there's that lovely chemical taste!
Like I said - ongoing for years. Not every time, not every location but I'd say 3 out of 5 times you're getting the funk.
