prerequired info:

situation: i got a daughter of a baron( the baron has a price on the party.'s head) this daughter is the wife of the jarl who has a village in wich the party resides at the moment. they fought of S-imps from a succubus called dell belfiend. Ran to the village and where save by the rune barier of the village.

now this daughter is actually someone from the dragonclan and she had need of the dragonorb, wich the party unwillingly brought her last session.

situation: There was a fallen valkry in the jarl's town and she suddenly disappeared, she wanted to return to asgard , the jarl's men men where ready to help after her pleading but she suddenly disappeared. After the disappearance, the jarl also noticed more draugr, so they re-enforced the runes protecting the village. Everything was good but more and more good an wise men also started to disappear.

The daughter is head of some cultists of the dragonclan and kept the valkrey magically restrained on a sacrificial altar in the ribcage of a long dead god. They chant as they poor blood into her mouth to supress her divinity. the valkery begs the party to let her to the nearby ruined temple of odin

Actual problem:

so first of all the daughter has made a deal with the succubus to keep prying men away from her evil plans.

second, the draugr are just many because they get attracted by the necromantic energies the cultist use.

and thirdly the daughter has the orb for her plans..

problem: The only thing is.. i don't know what her plans are. any ideas?

Recap: so the daughter has something to do with the cult & the valkery and the succubus.

ps: one of my players thinks cthulhu had something to do with the orb because upon resurection of her friend cthulhu gave the orb back to the friend while claiming almost all of her other possions as payment. so cthulhu could maybe have his own plans? i was thinking about some powergrab or something via the orb?

Any ideas are welcome as to how the orb is needed, for what it is needed and what does cthulhu want with it? why did he gave it to the player?
