Realistic Conversion of Bench Press Max to D&D Strength Scores

Has anyone ever created a realistic conversion of real-life bench press max to D&D Strength scores?

For example:

STR 10 would be the average person, bench pressing around 135 lbs.

STR 18 would represent the apex of human strength, bench pressing around 1000 lbs.

I'm asking because my D&D friends aren't really into bodybuilding, powerlifting, or strongman competitions, so this topic hasn't been discussed much.

The few things I found online seem to be written by people who don't fully understand the bench press to strength ratio.

Any insights or suggestions would be appreciated!
