I scoured the guidelines posts and at the end of the day, I couldn't find any conclusive statements about whether advertising for players was self-promotion or not. I swear, I tried everything to be compliant, so if this is self-promotion, mods, please be gentle with me.

Title says it all. Trying to help this guy get his feet wet with D&D, and I'd like 3-4 more players who have never played D&D before to join him.

For those of you who have played and are interested in learning how to DM, I wouldn't mind taking 1-2 of you as assistants and showing you the ropes.

Game will be played over Discord Voice Chat with Roll20. It will be deliberately slow and technical, especially at first, so some patience will be required. It'll probably be bi-weekly, exact time and day of week to be determined by the group, but I'm in GMT -5 (US East Coast) so expect it to be somewhere in the evening hours of that time zone.
