Post Body

Alright I've had this question for a while I'd I'm asking for either lore that answers this or just group opinions (please let me know if it's just an opinion) to the question. Is the difference between chromatic dragons convergent or divergent evolution. For example is a white dragon a species that evolved in a snow environment and just happens to have many traits similar to a red dragon or do they branch from the same original dragon species and developed area specific traits e.g. ice or fire breath.
