After an experiment with doing less prep and just winging it proved what I thought all along - ADHD brain likes to wander, but def needs at least a trail to follow - I prepped hard for today's game. I'm running a game with 6 players that's been going for about a year and a half. Two of the players are married. We're all adults and friends outside of the game (part of an ENM group). We have an agreement that we play if we're down one person but two or more we cancel. The married couple cannot come one without the other and they cancelled today. I'm just bummed. It's happened a few times and there's not much to be done about it (she cannot drive after dark) but I was really looking forward to playing!
