So at this place I regularly hit at about 1am (or later) I will park in a neighboring parking lot and walk to the store's dumpster. Never had a problem until the other night.

I parked in the usual spot and another car is parked in the store's parking lot about 20 feet away. These are two neighboring businesses' parking lots. I am in one, the other car is in the other one. I go raid the dumpster and am walking back to my car, turnign the corner of the building and I am very briefly lit up bu headlights.

I quickly turn around, walk back to the dumpster, hide my goodie bag. Hide my DD gear, and walk around the corner of the store. I walk completely around the building to the front parking lot and briefly lay near the curb near some sparse bushes. I start crawling to some better (thicker cover) bushes and I see a car come around the building corner (where my vehicle and the two other cars are) and it is coming towards me. I assume it is another cop ((I assumed the first one was a cop), So I move up to the curb and lay there next to the thicker bush. The car rolls right past me. I am exposed (not behind the bush), but the car didnt notice me. It was not a police car.

So I get up and quickly make it to the sidewalk in front of the store's parking lot next to the street and start casually walking while looking to see if ant cops are about. I see none. I walk all the way to the other parking lot and walk around another building so I come up behind my car and I see another car is parked one space next to my car. Which is a very unusual place to park.

So I am kind of stuck. I figure someone is waiting for me to come to my car IF they saw me sneak in and park (either on remote camera or nearby). Or is waiting to break into it (who knows!). I watch it for a while, hoping it will leave. It does not. The car turns off (no headlights or taillights anymore).

So I am standing there wondering what to do. after a while I say fuck it and walk up to my car (from the opposite direction), get in, start it, back up and drive off. While I am leaving I see that a white van has parked in front of the store entrance and unloading something (I think they were delivering prescription drugs to the store).

So I drive across the street into another store's parking lot and watch and wait in the dark. Watching through a monocular I keep in my vehicle. The van leaves after a while. And then a white truck with a white camper arrives and parks in the same spot in front of the store's entrance. Another prescription drug delivery vehicle?

So I sit there and watch and wait for a half hour. Tired of wait ing I drive to another street that is next to the back of the store, I drive in, grab my goodie bag and gear and leave.

WTF do you think was going on? Especially with the car that parked almost next to my car.

It has REALLY been creeping me out thinking about it. I am going to have to park even farther away now (across the street in another store's parking lot) to hit the store's dumpster.
