Any strong opinions against an A5?

Nope. Solid gun. I have the sweet sixteen wicked wing, my buddy has the 12ga wicked wing. Both run awesome. I also have a Maxus 2 wicked wing 12ga. Which is another awesome option if you aren’t a fan of the humpback.
Don’t feel like you need a wicked wing unless you like how they look as they are pricey. We only run them because I’m a browning dealer and get some good deals on them.

A5 is inertia driven, Maxus is gas driven. So the a5 will have more felt recoil, and can fail to cycle if not shouldered properly. But it’ll run cleaner. Maxus will feel softer shooting, and cycle even if fired from the hip. But will get dirtier quicker.
