I’m decently new to waterfowl hunting and was curious. Would #2 shot be enough to knock a Canada goose down? Ik BB shot would be much better but it’s expensive and I won’t be taking shots over 30 yards.

I’ve killed my fair share of geese with 2’s and 4’s in steel. Now I shoot a blend of 3/5’s bismuth and it absolutely hammers birds past 40yds.
