Can someone enlighten me on how the speed / shot is calculated?
Same box/ same ammo. 3-1/2” BB shot for geese
1-1/4 produces 1625 fps but more powder 1-3/8 produces slower speed at 1550?
Misprint?? Deceptive Advertising?
Uhhh only so much room in the shell. So if you want more speed (powder) you need less shot. Also I should add, you’ll want to pattern those shells. Typically the faster they are the worse they will pattern. I’m willing to bet money that both those have a blown out pattern but the faster ones will be even worse.
