Looking to get a Ducati Scared of Maintenance

Like the title says, I’m looking to get a monster 620, but is my first bike. I am filling willing to do maintenance myself and spoil it with parts and time, but how realistic is it for me, a beginner to keep up? I look at posts on this thread, of people asking about their problems and it’s honestly a foreign language to me. Any websites or YouTubers or courses I should take to get better acquainted with the mechanics of a bike? I’m looking at Ducatis that are post 2000 and pre 2010 for the price if that is relevant.
