Is it worth it?

Hey guys, I am looking at a clean title 2008 Ducati 848 with 5569 miles. The guys is asking 4k for the bike. All is great except a jerryrigged weld on the side of the bike where the kickstand is. So this makes it so the kickstand can’t be installed. Which is fine cause it will be a track bike for me right now. What do you think of the value and the cost of the repairing gone wrong??
