Renters, what percentage of your monthly take-home goes to rent?

And do you live alone or with others? North or south? City or suburb? I'm curious to see where I fall on the spectrum or what's the norm.
I'm at 16% for a shared house in the South of the City (which I'm happy with). Most of my friends earn slighty more than me and live in nicer houses but spend around 20-30% on rent in similar areas. One lives alone with a partner, the rest of us share.
I'm just curious.
