Driving out of Dublin Airport

I got my full liscence about 10 years ago. Only use it to drive my parents home if they've had a few too many in a country pub. I live in the city centre and I cycle. I did rent a car about 4years ago in New Zealand but once I was out of Auckland it was all country driving and an automatic. I'm renting a car next week. Picking it up in Dublin Airport and absolutely bricking it. Just thiking about the M50 makes me sweat. How do I prep or calm myself?
