What is the endgame for these possible scams?

Hi everyone. I have a question about some messages I've noticed popping up on WhatsApp and reddit dm's recently?

Recently, a few of my friends group have noticed that we've been receiving a lot of random messages on WhatsApp from different numbers all who start the conversation normally (hi, hello how are you etc) and then end up asking if we are active investors in crypto (after some random chit chat). All of these are women and almost all of them are from China or other East Asian countries and the numbers they message from are from different countries. Once we say no or don't show interest, they stop chatting.

One of these women asked us to invest into binance for example.

My question is, what could the possible endgame be for them to get us into crypto? Are they expecting us to divulge our payment details or account details?

Anyone else been receiving these messages?
