Looking for a good starter bike in COS area

Never owned a bike but have ridden a few. Don’t even have my license yet but really want something I can ride into the mountains for camping/ hunting. Was hoping maybe there was someone in the area that can give some guidance in relation to what’s for sale in the area. There are a lot of options on marketplace but I don’t really know what’s a good deal and what isn’t with bikes. Hoping for something I’d be able to put a rack or something similar on. Sorry if this isn’t allowed.
