Anyone with dry has have blepharitis and these other symptoms?
Post Body

A few months ago I went to an ophthalmologist because I was having eye pain. It almost feels like it's an intense scratchy pain as if there's an eyelash or something there but there isn't. When that happens I usually also feel pressure around my eyes and upper nose. But the pain is so irritating it drives me crazy and makes me not even able to focus. Usually when this happens, its upon waking up. The first few times this happened I went to an ophthalmologist just to be safe and they said my eyes themselves were fine. They did say I have ocular rosacea but I really don't think this pain is from that. I also have flaky skin around my eyes and sometimes I have these small grain sized objects that I gently rub off my eyes. I'm not sure if they come from the lids or eyes themselves.

I just back to the same ophthalmologist the other day and they said the pain is caused by the eye lid scratching the eye and its not a big deal. She didn't even mention it to me verbally, but when I looked at the aftercare summary, it said I have "bilateral and Squamous blepharitis of upper and lower eyelids of both eyes". She has been very bad at communicating and explaining things the 2 times I've seen her

I definitely think I'm going to try to get a 2nd opinion but in the meantime, does anyone else have similar symptoms? Do you know what causes it for you and what treatment has worked? I'm freaking out because I'm fairly young and don't want to go blind.
