I was drinking a martini a night till Thursday then I would have 2… Friday and Saturday were reserved for drunk nights… Aka a bottle of wine and a martini. Sundays I would always have a Bloody Mary at brunch. I stopped working out the last year, I was always exhausted, my back hurt, I put on 20 lbs. I went through a very hard year with family issues, and I didn’t realize how much I was numbing it all with alcohol. Since Jan 1 2024 I’ve been eating clean, sleeping 8 hours a night, going to hot yoga 3 times a week, and I am no longer exhausted. I’m down 8 lbs!!!! I am doing dry February for sure, and I will incorporate alcohol into my social life as I see fit come March. No more martinis during the week and wasted weekends. This had completely changed my outlook on my health and how much I was risking. I am so grateful I found this group, and I have been so strong. Cheers to a healthy relationship with alcohol in the future.
I love this for you.
