Has DJ brought along any new habits or routines you hadn’t considered before starting?
For myself, I can think of two:
• Becoming much more hydrated! I drink more water and green tea than I used to. I’ve had one NA beer, a couple of glasses of Coke with meals, and three sparkling rhubarb drinks, but apart from those six drinks I haven’t swapped out alcohol with anything but water.
• Starting intermittent fasting (IF) again. This wasn’t even on my mind in December, but then I saw one of you mentioned you were fasting in the start of the month, and it got me thinking how IF fell out of my habit when I started drinking more often in the evenings, and thought this would be a good month to pick it up again. Bonus: I’m more preoccupied with food than alcohol now, so DJ hasn’t really been an issue these last few days (started Sunday).
What about you? Any accidental new habits from doing DJ?
